Atkins staff from our Galway, Cork and Dublin have been busy in recent weeks, meeting students from universities and colleges across Ireland.

Atkins and Faithful+Gould are seeking highly motivated Graduates to join our busy multidisciplinary practices in Galway, Dublin and Cork.

Atkins is a leading global multidisciplinary consultancy that employs 18,300 staff worldwide and which is now part of SNC Lavalin Plc which brings the total of staff up to 55,000 worldwide. Atkins has undertaken some of the most prestigious and iconic projects in the world including the Burj al Arab complex in Dubai and the Crossrail Project in London. Atkins were the official engineering design services provider for the London 2012 Olympic games.

In Ireland, recent high profile PPP projects included the M50 widening in Dublin and the M6 motorway from Galway to Ballinasloe. We have also successfully completed the N7 Motorway from Nenagh to Castletown, major drainage works and wastewater treatment plants around Ireland. Atkins have a whole range of other large projects across different sectors including; housing, education, healthcare projects including Phase 2 of the Paediatric Inpatient Accommodation, Helipad and access bridge at Cork University Hospital, leisure centres such as Finn Valley Leisure Centre, and data centres, industrial and commercial projects.

Current high profile projects include the Motorway Contracts Audit and Administration Services (MCAAS) project, which is the management of motorway maintenance services across Ireland’s motorway network and the infrastructure for the Dublin Docklands SDZ. The Military Archives Project which President Michael D. Higgins officially opened in Cathal Brugha Barracks as a flagship project for the 1916 Rising Commemorations programme. Atkins are working on a number wastewater treatment plants around the country, as well as a number of sustainable travel projects including Portmarnock to Baldoyle Greenway, Sutton to Malahide Greenway and Bray Dart Public Transport Interchange.

Atkins are also leading a number of public realm and urban design projects including Carrick on Suir Public Realm. Atkins are also working on commerical and industrial projects for various private clients around the country.
