Atkins continues to provide all civil, structural, highways and transport infrastructure services on these major development sites adjacent the N11 / M50.

The Fassaroe area is designated as the major expansion area for Bray as set out on the GDA Regional Planning Guidelines. Based on the development of a masterplan for the site developed by Atkins and a wider design team, a Local Area Plan was developed and adopted by Wicklow County Council. Atkins has now delivered the first planning application on the site to include the main link road through the site, the first substantive residential aspect of 680 units, a neighbourhood and retail centre, 5No commercial/office buildings and a district park. The overall masterplan will house over 2,600 residential units. Extensive modelling of the impacts on the M11 have been undertaken and we are currently in discussion with Dublin Bus and the NTA to secure public transport provision for Phase 1.
